Privacy Policy

1. Data We Collect

We collect account information (name, email, billing address), payment details (processed by our payment provider, never stored on our servers), and support ticket content you submit to us. We also log the IP address and browser/device information (user agent) associated with account logins and registration, for account security, fraud prevention, and abuse investigation.

2. How We Use It

Your data is used to provision and manage your services, process payments, respond to support requests, and send essential service notifications such as renewal reminders and maintenance windows.

3. Data Storage & UK GDPR Compliance

All customer data is stored on servers located in ISO 27001-certified UK datacenters. We process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

4. Third-Party Processors

We share data only with processors necessary to run the service: our payment processor (for billing) and our DDoS mitigation partner (for network-level traffic filtering). Neither is permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

5. Data Retention

Account and billing records are retained for 6 years after account closure to meet UK tax and accounting obligations. Support ticket content is deleted 24 months after the ticket is closed. Login/security event records (IP address, browser/device information) are retained for 12 months for security purposes, then deleted.

6. Cookies

We use two cookies, both strictly necessary to run the service — neither is used for advertising or tracking, so under UK PECR they don't require opt-in consent, only this notice:

  • PHPSESSID — your login session, deleted when the session ends or expires.
  • jn_remember — an optional "remember me" token, only set if you tick that box at login, so you can stay signed in between visits.

We don't currently run analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies. If that changes, this page — and the cookie notice on the site — will be updated first.

7. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To request a full export of your account data, or to request account deletion, open a support ticket from your client area or email us — we action verified requests within one month, as required by law.

8. Contact

JungleNode Ltd is the data controller for personal data processed under this policy. We are registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under registration reference [PENDING — insert real ICO registration reference]. For any privacy-related request, open a ticket from your client area or contact us via the support channels listed on our site. If you're unsatisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the ICO at ico.org.uk.
